The 1986 mini-series Blood & Orchids, produced by Lorimar and broadcast on CBS, is available to order starting today (January 19th) from the Warner Archive as an MOD (manufacture-on-demand) DVD.
This comes on 2 discs, running approximately 200 minutes long and is presented in full screen video and English mono audio. Cost is $19.95, and like all MOD titles is is only available to ship to addresses in the United States due to legal restrictions.
Taken from the novel by Norman Katkov, Blood & Orchids story is based on the infamous 1932 Massie trial in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The cast includes Kris Kristofferson, Jane Alexander, Sean Young, Jose Ferrer, Susan Blakely, Richard Dysart, and Madeleine Stowe.
Extras on this two-disc set include an original network trailer.
