Madeleine Stowe and here daughter May were spotted by photographers in Santa Monica this morning.

After a 2 years break, the actress will appear in Saving Milly, a Tv Drama movie wich will air on CBS next March.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Madeleine has signed to star in Saving Milly, a Tv drama based on the best-selling book and real-life journey of political journalist Morton Kondracke.

The movie recounts his inspiring love story with his activist wife, Milly, and the dramatic change in their lives in the years after she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

The TV movie, co-produced by CBS and Magna Global Entertainment, will star Madeleine in the title role and Bruce Greenwood in the part of Morton Kondracke.

Emmy-winning director-producer Dan Curtis will direct from a teleplay by Jeff Arch.

According Variety, Madeleine Stowe is in negotiations to play Mel Gibson’s wife in the Vietnam war drama We Were Soldiers Once and Young, which starts shooting March 5.

Based on the first major battle between US soldiers and the Viet Cong in 1965, the Paramount production will be directed by Randall Wallace and stars Gibson as a hardy battalion commander.

The film has already attracted criticism from some Vietnam veterans who worry that Gibson will romanticise what remains a controversial and painful struggle.
