Today’s Variety edition reports that Madeleine Stowe will direct Unbound Captives from the script she wrote with her husband, actor Brian Benben, few years ago.
The movie is on pre-production and Hugh Jackman, Robert Pattinson and Rachel Weisz have signed to star in it. Gil Netter and Grant Hill will produce with Ashok Amritraj’s Hyde Park Entertainment.
Madeleine Stowe wrote the script of Unbound Captives in 2003 and turned down a $5 million offer from Fox then because the Studio didn’t want her to play the female lead part.
Production should start soon.
